My left arm

My left arm

Author's Note: At no other time in my life do I see an election being more important. Since 2007 I have tried to understand why we the people have so little influence, and how our country continues to slip from our grasp. There are powerful scientific designs to control us from cradle to grave, and the working of massive computers orchestrating our slavery to the nanosecond, and yet, in our final hour, we cannot come together to make a singular decision.

Unless a leader of unprecedented talent and moral compass manifests, surely America will fall. This indeed, will be something like a miracle... We have doubled the national debt in just seven years, and international banks are eating us alive from the inside out. In my quest for an answer I discovered the amazing teachings of Dr. Ron Paul, and had hoped the American people might wake up to his very profound predictions, now manifesting itself after almost thirty years of warnings.

As of yet, nether he, or his son Rand have been accepted by the American people, and they have failed to produce the spark that will unite us for a common goal.

Donald Trump is not a Libertarian, and I really don't think he understands the philosophy... but he does know business, and the dealings of the powerful elite, who have us by the throat. He could be our saving grace... He could indeed turn this country in the direction where a future president may in fact give us back our Republic, and civil liberties. He might be just the man to face the monsters perched inside of our own White House. The following is a muse of ideas, thoughts and opinions, metaphors and facts... in a feeble attempt to hit home. When all is lost, one thing will always remain, hope. And so I give you...

 My left arm

My left arm isn't as powerful as my right, and not nearly as accurate throwing a ball. It can't hold a pen or fork properly, no matter how hard I try, and only attempts to shake hands when my right arm is busy carrying something. It seems to try to mimic my right arm in gestures sometimes, but hardly ever instigates a wave of hello or goodbye. It has, however, abilities all its own, and seems to be directed from an entirely different part of my brain. My left arm is different from my right, but without a doubt, just as viable.

Though my right arm pulls the trigger on my rifle, my left arm subconsciously steadies it for the shot. It's not worth a darn using a tennis racket, but without it flailing in the opposite direction my right arm would have little power and balance.  We always wrestle our strongest arm, reluctant to challenge a southpaw, but what is thought to be brute strength in my right arm, my left arm makes up in stamina. Yes, we are hard-wired to choose the more versatile, the stronger of the two, and I guess that is a survival technique... but how many times in the course of a lifetime has our left arm saved our bacon?

It is traditional that my watch is on my left arm, and the little pink patch under it shows what my skin might look like without sun.  My wedding ring is there too, amazingly displaying my honor, fidelity, and love. Must be a reason for this... and it might just be the romantic in me, but I think the left arm is more stable, more dependable, and more reliable.

A few years back I was ordered to take my wedding ring off because of a new safety rule on the rig I was on.  I could not get it over my knuckle, so I had it cut off. Yes, a lot can change in 67 years, as we grow... but I noted something interesting just a few months after wearing my new ring... it got just as scratched as the old one, and fast, because my left arm is not afraid of work.

When I boxed in the Navy my left arm stayed busy, but it seemed to have a mind of its own. Blocking a punch came automatically, and could only muster the power of a short jab. It took the lead however, goaded my opponent to distraction, and set up my right hook to finish the job. In victory, (not very many), my hands clasped together in unity, and in solemn moments of reverence, they both pointed to heaven in a prayer. Both worked together for a common goal, gentile enough for changing a baby's diaper, but strong and forceful enough to change the tire on my car as well.

My left arm has a lot more scars then my right. Observation says it is more comfortable for defense, with my right as offense, but it is more than that. It is a team effort.

Just like most everything in this life, my left arm is taken for granted. Most often it is used without thinking, going unnoticed and unappreciated, until it is needed.

The reality of America's arms

If my left arm could talk. If it could articulate its function through a political perspective, most likely it would say this: "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your Country."  Yes, this is a quote from a very famous left-leaning Democratic President, John F. Kennedy, considered a liberal of his time. Today, liberals have been displaced by a new movement called Progressive-ism, just as the right are now called Neocons, and both seemingly at war. Without a doubt, JFK was describing what my left arm does for me every day,

automatically. To control us, Progressives and Neocons manage we the people's arms, and pit one arm against the other for their own personal gain. They play us in a grand illusion, a dog and pony show of their own design, and in the process of his challenges, JFK was killed.

As a Libertarian, I no longer see myself picking up the gauntlet of what the Right and Left clams to be today. What they once were no longer exists. Surely, when the standards were first drawn, people of like mind came together for a common goal, and most often, they thought it was for the common good. Integration, women's suffrage, unions, and many so-called protective laws are created from some tragedy or chaos, and for the most part, it demands both sides to be responsible for their actions, but this has changed as well. Those in our government are above the law.

Have you ever asked yourself, after all of the war we have witnessed in our lives, that we have not instilled one Constitutional Republic based on law that even remotely resembles our own?  The answer is a simple one. The powers that war, which make money on destruction and reconstruction, could not exist in a Republic based on Constitutional Law. What is needed for tyranny and exploitation to exist, only a puppet dictator can deliver, and that is why our bill of rights and Constitution is shredded.  That is why Liberty is just an illusion. That is why our businesses go overseas, where safety laws do not exist, and cheep slave labor will do their bidding for pennies.

Governments, banking cartels, religions, corporations, are all institutions. They can, and will with time, use what was once a benign, caring, even loving standard for their own personal gain. There are many profound examples of this, for instance: Slowly and methodically exposing our children to unloving violence and sex on TV, for instance, with the promotion of egocentricity and self-absorption, myopic selfishness, irresponsibility and frivolity, shallow vanity and narcissism, blurs the lines of our reality, destroying by increments the perception of right and wrong. A viable understanding of what is good and bad and right and wrong that took thousands of years to develop needs to be destroyed and subverted by a structure whose sole existence is for profit in dominance. When we submit without question, fight among ourselves, when we are confused by lies and our own laziness, we are easily controlled. Our country no longer belongs to us, and soon, if they have their way, neither will our minds.

Now the left and right are at war, just as orchestrated. Here is an example: Some homosexuals, for instance, say they want equal rights, but the movement has been hijacked by others promoting their lifestyle and sexual expressions as normal, vying for acceptance by a population struggling with a dying morality. When they march, they dress for shock and awe, suggesting that the movement is about sexual parody, as a forefront to equal rights...  as if equal rights are something won after their brand of sexual expressions are accepted by society. This could not be further from the truth. What goes on behind closed doors, if not harmful and freely chosen, is no one's business but the consenting adult... that is the point. It is none of our business, and most all agree with this. So why are we promoted to fight? ... because that is how we are controlled.  That is how we are distracted...

In a marriage, each thinks of the other as their right arm.

Strong women who hate strong men

Good and strongly convicted women, who once vied for equal rights, from voting, a practical education, to final acceptance in the market place, were soon hijacked by women who have a virtual hatred for masculinity, with regard for equal rights as secondary. Equal rights are not their primary concern; the reconstruction of men is their goal.

Their game plan is to destroy the very idea of masculinity, and all of its various forms, from social norms, both models and customs, for what they consider a more sensitive, gentler man to emerge, more easily controlled. In that unrelenting process many men in this generation have lost both drive and male assertiveness in the confusion. In just one generation, men have been both ham strung and castrated, ostracized and humiliated, for ideas that just a generation ago were considered positive and constructive.

Today, men are assembled by indoctrination to feel guilty for these innate masculine drives, and the new feminists seem to have far more in common with gay men, then a man of yesteryear. Men who were once valued to know survival techniques, such as being aggressive in business, or knowing how to use a weapon, is scorned to be out of date and obsolete. Even the love songs a generation ago seems passé today, as the newly promoted trans-gender wants to potty where they may. But it isn't the transgender promoting this, but an opportunistic government who sponsor distractions with one hand, while manipulating our world unseen with the other. We are being played, and it is a masterful hand, computer generated.

Boys and girls of eight years are taught in school to question their feelings about their sexual preference openly, while progressive teachers promote the suppression of traditional social norms and mores as being inconsequential. In the process, they dissolve family cohesiveness, and promote long-established and time-honored moral and ethical mindsets to be redundant.

The American left and right, without a doubt, is being controlled by the same bird.  It takes an amazingly astute and empathetic populous to combat this never-ending onslaught, and from every side. We are a collective commodity and a scientifically manipulated consumer, both puppets and pawns, and for powers so well hidden and orchestrated, one might even kill his fellow man on cue, and never know, or care to reason why...  and sorry to say, but slaves have the same mindset.

Our founders warned us that once Liberty was lost, it would be impossible to regain without the blood of patriots and tyrants. Perhaps they were wrong. Perhaps an outsider will lead us from this dark valley that America has become. Perhaps he can make America great again.
